Coastline Ballet center (CBC) is a ballet school serving the north shore community of massachusetts. We provide excellence in dance education to students ages 3 years and up, of all levels and abilities. OUR MISSION IS TO CREATE A NURTURING AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT AS WE HELP ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TOWARDS REACHING THEIR GOALS IN dance. offering classes for children, youth, as well as adults, from beginner to advanced levels, we aim to create a solid foundation in technique and to CULTIVAte a committed whole hearted appreciation of Dance. coastline ballet center is founded and directed by jessica Kreyer and pavel gurevich, both former professional ballet dancers, respected dance instructors, and residents of the North Shore area. CBC is located in a newly renovated space in the heart of marblehead, housing 2 spacious dance studios.

JESSICA KREYER BEGAN HER STUDIES WITH EVA LORRIANE IN oak park, il BEFORE CONTINUING AT THE ACADEMY OF MOVEMENT AND MUSIC. AS A STUDENT, SHE PERFORMED FEATURED BALLET ROLES, And APPEARED IN WORKS BY SUCH ICONS AS DORIS HUMPHREY, RUTH ST. DENIS, AND MARTHA GRAHAM with the dance company momenta. MS. KREYER CONTINUED HER SCHOOLING AT THE RUTH PAGE FOUNDATION WITH LARRY LONG, DOLORES LIPINSKI, BIRUTE BARODICAITE. AS A COMPANY MEMBER of the civic ballet of chicago, MS. KREYER PERFORMED IN MANY OF PAGE'S WORKS. SHE WAS A SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT AT THE SUMMER PROGRAMS OF HOUSTON BALLET, AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE, PENNSYLVANIA BALLET, BALLET AUSTIN, AND MILWAUKEE BALLET. in 1998 she was RECEIVED the prestigious carey rose winiski award in dance. in 2001 she began her PROFESSIONAL CAREER with the milwaukee ballet. she then went on to dance with the COLUMBIA CITY BALLET, BALLET MEMPHIS, JOSE MATEO'S BALLET THEATRE, and was a guest artist with BALLET ENTRE NOUS, LAKES AREA BALLET, AND THE FOOTHILLS CONSERVATORY. Ms. KREYER HAS ALSO PERFORMED AT SUCH MAJOR PUBlIC EVENTS AS THE REPuBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION (2000) AND CHICAGO'S DANCE FOR LIFE GALA (2001, 2010.) In addition to performing she has taught at the milwaukee ballet school, the ballet memphis school, the foothills conservatory, harvard university, and the pettit national ice center. in 2004 ms. kreyer joined the faculty of the Boston Ballet School and in 2013 was promoted to principal of the school's north shore studios. during her tenure as principal she was instrumental in connecting the north shore community to the art of ballet, developing the school's curriculum, and choreographing works for the schools annual performances. her teaching experience also includes serving as an assistant children's ballet mistress for boston ballet's nutcracker, and teaching in the citydance and summer dance programs.

Pavel Gurevich
|
PAVEL GUREVICH, born in Minsk in the Republic of Belarus, graduated with honors and a major in choreography from the Belarus State Ballet Academy, where he trained under Alexander Kolyadyenko. Following his graduation, he was invited to dance with the State Academic Bolshoi Ballet Theatre of Minsk as a Soloist dancer. In 1997, Mr. Gurevich came to the States and joined the Milwaukee Ballet and achieved the rank of Principal Dancer. He competed in the International Ballet Competition held in Jackson, MS. in 1998 and was a semi-finalist in 2002. Mr. Gurevich joined Boston Ballet as a First Soloist in 2003 and was promoted to the rank of Principal Dancer in 2009. Mr. Gurevich danced with Boston Ballet until 2012 and then went on to dance with the Suzanne Farrell Ballet as a Principal Dancer. During the span of his career he has been featured in all of the great classical ballets, in a multitude of Balanchine works, as well as a vast array of contemporary pieces. He has appeared in Pointe as well as Dance Magazine, and was part of a PBS televised documentary, Dancing Anna Karenina. He has danced all over the world appearing as a Principal Guest Artist with companies such as Cincinnati Ballet, Coltun Ballet, Tuzer Ballet, and Ballet Teresa Carreno in Venezuala. Upon his retirement from the stage, Mr. Gurevich joined the fulltime faculty of Boston Ballet School. During his 9 years with the school, he taught ballet, Pas de Deux, as well as character dance across all levels, including the pre-professional program, the trainee division, and the Summer Dance Program. He has choreographed class pieces for Boston Ballet’s annual Spring Performance, Next Generation, held at the Opera House. Mr. Gurevich has guest taught throughout the world at organizations such as Harvard University, Foothills Dance Conservatory, Oklahoma University, and served on the Jury of the Japan Grand Prix Ballet Competition.
